salwar kameez is a traditional dress worn by both women and men in South Asia mostly in India and Central Asia. Shalwar are loose pajama-like trousers. Indian people want to wear mostly chudithar clothes or dress because they want to show his culture by help of dresses. These dresses are called pajama kurta, salwar kameez and Jens kurta. The legs are wide at the top and narrow at the ankle. The kameez is a long shirt or tunic. In past time all the people have wear salwar kameez and pajama kurta .and in India’s villages mostly old people wear salwar kameez .this dress is common for men and women but difference is that men use only same color but women want to wear different color. Shalwar are gathered at the waist and held up by a drawstring or an elastic band. The pants can be wide and baggy or more narrow, and even made of fabric cut on the bias.but now a day’s this fashion has changed in jens and top type dresses. He kameez is usually cut straight and flat; older kameez use traditional cuts, as shown in the illustration above. Modern kameez are more likely to have European-inspired set-in sleeves. The tailor's taste and skill are usually displayed, not in the overall cut, but in the shape of the neckline and the decoration of the kameez. Modern versions of the feminine kameez can be much less modest than traditional versions. The kameez may be cut with a deep neckline, sewn in diaphanous fabrics, or styled in cap-sleeve or sleeveless designs. Women's clothing in India varies widely and is closely related to local culture, religion and climate.Traditional Indian clothing for women is saris or gaghra cholis and Saris made out of silk are considered the most elegant. Mumbai, formerly known as Chennai store, is one of India's fashion capitals. In some rural parts of India, traditional clothing is worn. Women wear a sari, a long sheet of colorful cloth with patterns. This is draped over a simple or fancy blouse. This is worn by young ladies and women.not only women but also men wear salwar kameez type dress and pajama kurta. For men, traditional clothes are the kurta Dhoti/Pajama. In south India men wear long, white sheets of cloth. In north Indian languages like Hindi, Marathi and Oriya these are called dhothi, while in Telugu they are called Pancha and in Tamil they are called veshti. Over the dhoti, men wear shirts/any.
